    I started working with Matt in August 2023. I was new to the gym and needed assistance with correct equipment set up,  lifting technique and I had no idea how to structure a session.

    Matt was approachable from the start. He has a great sense of humour and knew how to, not only encourage, but to push me when i needed to.  He knows exactly what i'm capable of. Our journey has been far from perfect. The past year has thrown some curve balls, due to  the injuries i was working through.  This never bothered Matt who has closely monitored how i was handling each training session and improvising when an exercise would trigger.

Growing up I was always the last picked for the team, the one who didn't always quite fit in. I spent so long trying to change myself to feel like I belonged, but nothing ever felt right until I found fitness. I fell in love with the industry not because someone told me to, but because it transformed my life.
